Customer orientation is our best feature! We think with the customer and give non-binding advice in the field of removals and our facilitating activities. Gerrit Kattenberg takes over the bid services Nunspeet – Harderwijk and Nunspeet – Elburg – Kampen for 800 guilders on July 1, 1904.
Henk Kattenberg takes over the business from his father Gerrit Kattenberg in 1948. six years later, in 1954, Kattenberg celebrates its 50th anniversary.
If “grandfather” G. Kattenberg started the business alone nearly 80 years ago, today there are five employees.
In September 1992, Kattenberg Removals’ new premises at Marconiweg 5 were officially inaugurated.

CO2-neutral moving
In addition to the Code of Responsible Market Conduct, involvement with the social environment and dealing responsibly with our planet is one of our spearheads. We move C02-neutrally. In a CO2-neutral move, the energy consumption during the transport of inventory goods, such as fuel and packaging materials, is converted into CO2 emissions. Mondial Kattenberg Removals performs CO2 neutral removals based on our belief that there are opportunities within the moving and storage industry to perform our work better and cleaner. In cooperation with Mondial Movers, we aim to achieve a balance in our daily operations between working conditions, nature and the environment on the one hand and business operations on the other. The world around us is subject to change and we too are constantly on the move to respond to the requirements set, taking opportunities as challenges. We do so carefully and with well-considered policy choices.
KVGM CSR Statement Policy 2021
Mondial Kattenberg Removals is responsible for a sound Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental (HSE) policy. For each activity, product or service, we consider the nature and extent of the effects. The policy is a framework for setting HSE objectives that lead to the protection of the environment, including prevention of environmental pollution. The ultimate goal is to achieve continuous improvement of the Management System. We also aim to promote the organization’s performance in the areas of quality, safety, health and the environment and to prevent environmental incidents and personal injury and illness.
Compliance obligations
The Environmental Management Activities Decree, the Approved Movers Regulations and the legislation for the road transport of goods, as well as the Euronorm for transport vehicles are the main legislative regulations to comply with. Responsibilities and tasks are defined and activities agreed upon so that we comply with the applicable laws and regulations. Mondial Kattenberg Removals does more than legally required where possible, if the effort is in healthy relation to the result. The measures that also have a positive effect on areas such as quality, safety, health and the environment will be given priority.
Reducing environmental impact
Mondial Kattenberg Removals’ business activities can have an effect on the environment. We keep the effects on the environment as low as possible by taking preventive measures. Among other things, by using the necessary raw and auxiliary materials responsibly. In the context and risk analysis, a life-cycle perspective of the environmental aspects has been determined for the activities and the products and services to be used. Where necessary, we choose other materials whose properties or production methods are less environmentally harmful. We deal responsibly with any hazardous substances and have a conscious management on the containment of waste streams.
Multisite Management System
In order to purposefully implement the KVGM policy, we work according to a Multisite management system. It meets the international standards ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 + the specific requirements of our stakeholders. The management of Mondial Kattenberg Verhuizingen is ultimately responsible for the KVGM policy and ensures the required information to employees within the organization. Among other things, through participation in necessary education and training, employees are aware of their responsibility in realizing the HSE policy. Partly for this reason, the policy statement is public and available to everyone.
The social playing field
Mondial Kattenberg Removals is convinced of the importance of playing a good role in the social playing field. Social entrepreneurship is also taking and practicing social responsibility. This involves making corporate social responsibility (CSR) live and incorporated into daily practice. In order to play a demonstrable role in the social playing field, the shareholders of Mondial Movers have approved the establishment of its own Foundation and the certification of the Social Enterprise Hallmark. Quality
The management’s policy is to meet the requirements and needs of its customers in the best possible way. For this purpose, a Multisite Management System has been established and implemented, which is implemented and maintained in an effective and economically sound manner. Safety
Safety and working conditions are important aspects in business operations. For this reason, Management System is also set up based on the OHSAS 45001 (2018) standards and the minimum requirements of VCA*2008.05.1. The HSE Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E) has been prepared and an annual plan of action is drawn up on the basis of an evaluation to resolve or control residual risks. Environment
Care for the environment is of paramount importance to us. The primary objective, based on compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations and the ISO 14001 (2015) standards in the management system, is to prevent damage to equipment and the environment in all activities.
