Moving workstations and inventory during an office move
A new building, perhaps a whole new company or a relocation at the old office? An office move is quite the step! You naturally want it to happen as quickly as possible so that everyone can get back to work. Office relocations are right up our alley!
What can we do?
- Moving the filing or file cabinets completely, including contents.
- Disconnecting and reconnecting of all appliances.
- Disassembling and reassembling of the loose furniture.
- Adjusting all desks to the correct height.
- Taking the whiteboards and screens off the wall and hanging them back on the walls at the desired spots.
- Temporarily store the excess inventory in our warehouse.
Your office move within one day
As a business owner, you naturally want work to resume as soon as possible. You are not waiting for a move that takes a couple of days, where after the move you are still busy retrieving things and connecting computers. It is smart to hire experienced movers, who will quickly and professionally put everything in the new and right place!
What do we do, what do you do?
An office move always consists of a few components. It involves workstations, with a desk, a chair and maybe a few cabinets. Stuff from the cafeteria, conference rooms and archives must also come with. The whiteboards or screens have to be taken off the wall and given a place in the new building, and the computers have to be handed over and plugged into their new place without scratches. We make arrangements for all this work, which we divide between the employees of the office and the movers of Kattenberg Relocations.
Costs of an office move
The cost of an office move depends on the number of workstations and other inventory we need to move. But also the distribution of the work plays a role in the price. In order to make a good estimate, we are happy to make an appointment for a non-binding quotation. One of our appraisers will come by to take a look and set up that quotation for you.
The right equipment in the right place
For every workstation, we use a computer box. It fits exactly a workstation with a desktop and all accessories. Are there also filing cabinets in the office? We have something clever for that, too! We use meter boxes to cleverly pack the contents of the cabinets. With these, we pack everything from left to right, top to bottom. We unpack it in the same cabinet in the new place. Also from left to right, top to bottom. No need for you to search for your documents!
