That moving boxes are needed with a move goes without saying. That there are different types of moving boxes also makes sense! But how do you assemble a moving box? Do you want to read up on everything? You can! Click on the button to download the packing instructions.
Step 1 – Place the moving box upside down
Unfold the moving box and turn it into a square. Place the box upside down on the floor. The logos are now upside down.
Step 2 – Fold the flaps
Now fold the flaps inward. First the short flaps, then the long ones. You are now making the bottom of the box.
Step 3 – Stick the tape
Tape the box closed with the moving tape. Do that by sticking a piece of tape on the long flaps of the box. Make sure that the tape also goes around the corner, so up to the side of the moving box. For extra strength, you can make a cross with the tape. Then also stick tape in the middle of the box over the short side. You have now made the bottom of the moving box!
Step 4 – Turn it over and pack it up!
We’re halfway there! Now turn the moving box over and you can start packing! We recommend packing everything as much as possible. Does it fit? Then pack it! Does it just barely fit in? Then pack it too! You can then leave the top of the box open. Just be careful not to make the box too heavy!
We’d rather walk an extra mile than get stuck with an unexpectedly heavy moving box.
Step 5 – Packing ready? Fold it!
Is the moving box full? Great! Then you can seal it. First fold the short flaps inwards, then the long flaps over them.
Step 6 – Seal and write down
Seal the box with a piece of tape, again making sure the tape goes around the corner. Using a pen or marker, write on the top of the box what is inside and where the box should go in the new house. That way the moving crew will know exactly what to do with each box!
