The heavy lifting by movers with a large item move
Could you use a hand moving the table, couches and beds? We have those hands! A move with only the large items like the cabinets, beds and couches is called a large item move. That’s when the movers transfer the items that won’t fit in a regular car. That means a little more work for the customer, but also an adjusted price.
What can we do?
- Disassembling and reassembling the loose furniture.
- Packing all furniture pieces neatly in the truck.
- Disconnecting and reconnecting the washer and dryer.
- Remove and re-hang lights, paintings and mirrors.
Closets, beds and couches
Moving comes in all shapes and sizes. Can you manage to move all the boxes and small stuff yourself? Then you can save a lot of money by agreeing on us only moving the larger items. The movers will then only move the large pieces of furniture. This can then be all the large pieces of furniture from the house, but also a single one. For example, a piano or a washing machine.

What does a large item move cost?
The cost of a large item move depends on the number of large items you want to move. We perform the move according to a list, which indicates for each room which furniture items are to be moved from that room. Some pieces of furniture must be disassembled before the move and reassembled at the new location. Who does what work determines the price for the move.
