An international move is not just any move and there is a lot involved. Saying goodbye to friends, and, after 25 years saying goodbye to Italy.
Fortunately, we found Kattenberg Removals and it was an excellent choice. On Thursday, Nov. 12, the van was expected to load at 7:30 a.m.. And at 7:30 it was on the driveway, with Henry and Mike on board – two men who are a well-oiled team, who do their work quickly and efficiently while also having time for you. They also really appreciated that we had provided two burly neighbors to help lug it around. Neighborly love shall we say. And so at four o’clock, showered and refreshed, the men were on their way to the next customer. Thank you very much for this relaxing day, a day I was really looking forward to, but which became a beautiful day thanks to you: “On November 16 the truck will arrive at 7.30 a.m. to unload,” and yes, at half past two minutes the truck turned into the driveway with four fast men.
Jeroen, Bart, Daniel and Wim Jan, walked the familiar round through the house and the unloading began. This time it also went very quickly because we made sure there was good access, in both houses! My daughter came with a delicious apple pie and the gentlemen thus had a nice coffee break. When everything was unloaded, sandwiches had been prepared for the road, but they were eaten at the table. And so it was that the car left Valthermond at noon.
