Class men from Kattenberg!

27 August 2024

We recently moved from Apeldoorn to Melk in Austria. Before the time came, we had to look for a mover and approached a number of providers. Where many made a “remote” offer, full of ambiguities and vague wording, Katenberg immediately took a different approach. Someone came to us in Apeldoorn to make an inventory, after which we received a clear offer, transparent and specified. Since our new address in Austria was not yet 100% determined, we had to use Kattenberg’s storage service. This was also clearly included in the quotation and did not give rise to any doubts or questions. On Tuesday, March 17, 2015, the time had come to move and our belongings were to be picked up in Apeldoorn. The moving van with container for storage arrived neatly on time according to schedule. With 4 men strong, the things we had already packed were loaded and the unpacked part was carefully and neatly packed by the employees of Kattenberg. It was hard work for the men of Kattenberg, but yet there was also time for a laugh and a chat. With 2.5 hours the job was done; the container was full and our house was empty! On April 16 we finally bought our house in Melk, Austria and an appointment could be made for the delivery of our stuff. One phone call to Nunspeet was enough to arrange this and then we were told by the planning that the moving van would arrive on Monday, April 20. An hour before arrival we received a phone call from the driver informing us of the estimated time of arrival. Again, the moving truck was right on time and Jeroen and Willem (with a little help from us) were able to unload. This happened in a relaxed atmosphere where there was also time for a chat, a bite to eat and a drink. After more than 2 hours, the truck was empty and the men showered and freshened up at our place. We can’t say anything but, “Class men of Kattenberg!”. Should we ever consider returning to the Netherlands, we already know who our mover will be. Many thanks for the excellent and above all friendly service! Van Beek family, Melk – Austria
