Men, while rigging the Christmas stuff we are still talking about you!

We were going to move again……… This time from Voorthuizen to the municipality of Elburg. After having more or less had a regular mover for the last few years, we decided – in view of the “moving distance” – to orientate ourselves on companies in the area. An appointment was soon made and the first visit by Mr. Spaan went very smoothly. Also very pleasant was the quotation that was given. The telephone contact afterwards was very pleasant and thoughtful, even when I mentioned that our 6 m flagpole had probably been forgotten to be included in the quotation. No problem: “How long is it?”, 6 meters I said, “Oh that can be in the car”. Because we lived in Voorthuizen and had a very narrow driveway with a curve, a smaller truck had to be added. It was a beautiful day: the men led by “chief” Jan did the moving work and I was “chief” of coffee and cake. When we arrived at our new address, we first ate sandwiches and then it was time to unpack. I didn’t know we had so much Christmas stuff. We could constantly hear the men calling out, “ah Christmas again………..”. Meanwhile, the Christmas stuff stands, because thanks to the men from Kattenberg, everything was nicely put together in a corner in the attic. “Men, while putting up the Christmas stuff we are still talking about you!” And here is the state photo of the men from Kattenberg on August 26, 2013.
